In this second podcast on the topic of racism Tim Barton & Tim Murray look a little bit deeper at how we as Christians can respond to what we are calling ‘cultural movements’. Over a number of months we have been having a conversation as a church family about racism and racial inequality. Following the tragic death of George Floyd and the civil unrest that followed we took time to pray and reflect on what God may be saying to us. However, the events that took place at this time not only involved racism, but also a cultural movement, in this case Black Lives Matter. How do we respond as Christians to cultural movements? And how can we be active in a thoughtful, prayerful, Christ-centred way?
