In Part 1 of Unravelling (Unravelling Culture) we are analysing not only what we think in our culture, but why we think what we think.
The main question our culture asks about identity is “who am I?” The usual answer is that we can be anything that we want to be – we get to define who we are. In this video we explore why that answer is problematic, leads us into UNREALITY and contributing to some of the major crises we are facing in our world.
We also suggest that the Christian worldview proposes a different identity question – not “who am I?” but “WHOSE am I?”. This question leads to an understanding of identity that is both more in touch with reality and offers true hope.
