Happy Independence Day in the US! This movie has literally nothing to do with July 4th, but it's still a load of fun.
House on Haunted Hill (1999), dir. William Malone from a screenplay by Dick Beebe, a remake of a movie with the same title from 1959 starring Vincent Price. This one stars Geoffrey Rush, a smoking hot Famke Janssen, Taye Diggs, Ali Larter, Brigette Wilson, Peter Gallagher, Chance's rodent boyfriend Max Perlich, Lisa Loeb, Spike from Buffy, and "and Chris Kattan."
