Description

On this episode of Alumni Direct's show "ATHLETES TO ENTREPRENEURS: The Alumni Journey," we talk to Dr. Jo Shattuck, former elite racquetball player, neuroscientist, founder and CEO of Panther Tec.

Dr. Shattuck shares about her instant love of racquetball, the need for programs to help athletes transition out of sports, her thoughts on NIL, and how she learned to network after starting her company, Panther Tec.

Dr. Shattuck's advice to current athletes:

"I can't say enough about learning to network and ending every call with 'Great, how can I help you?"

Dr. Shattuck's advice about exploring your interests outside of your sport:

"When you start to see the end for yourself...or even during the off season...listen to podcasts, listen to other athletes, take a cooking class...There's so much out there that you don't know because you've been so consumed, as I was...So if you like it, try it."
