In Exodus 14 we see the Israelites caught between the Red Sea and their former masters, the Egyptians. They cry out to Moses and Moses in turn cries out to God, here's how God responded, "The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward!"
