According to Genesis 1 + 2, God created the heavens and the earth in six days. And before anyone jumps into the debate of "old earth" or "new earth," let's just pause and reflect on what God as the Eternal Creator means for us and how that truth can cause us to love him more and to walk with him in trust and humility.
