In comics the Annual is usually a combination piece to whatever you are currently reading in comics. The annual may close plot holes. Give resolution to unsolved endings. Annuals even drum up more questions. Some can see the annual as jumping point as many of them usually do a good job of telling the story thus far. There was even a time the annuals came with updates on the abilities and augmentations of characters.
Well here at ComiCentric we think a little differently. While we knew that we wanted to do something special for the one-year annual anniversary. We didn’t know how to go about it. We thought up what if we just do the best of. And compile it into one episode. While a good idea. We like to think that’s been done to death. Then we thought what if we do it like a late-night talk show. But getting the furniture for that would be too cumbersome. At one point we even thought about doing it from a remote location and or other comic shop.
Then in our standard fashion just AMALGAMED them all into one idea. A live show of sorts in the comic shop! So, with our help from our good friend Dre of dres geek philosophy and the ever-loving Pizza Stains. And of course, all our wonderful listeners who despite it being on April first. You know April fools. showed up knowing that it wasn’t a joke.
