   4. His name: John L Sponza, father of criminal who seemed to always escape law

   5. John Sponza, Jr., was arrested

   6. He beat up witness in trial against deputy sheriff (accused of buying stolen TV)

   7. Arresting officer: chief investigator Henry Byrnes
