Like I stated in the opening of the sermon we are working on getting James Chapter three put up. Trevor killed it and we recap it in the opening!
These are points and questions for the message currently being listened too!
Points:
1. Remind yourself daily of the gospel and what is does, humility will natural flow from that.
2. Plan your days with open hands, gospel hearts, and submitted to the Word of God!
3. Things are not the problem, your heart is! Our intentions and motives are the root of any action/ plan we allow.
a. Let the Word be your filter and motive on earth, not the earth be your filter on the Word.
Questions:
1. How’s your heart? Do you have a practice of preaching the Gospel to yourself daily?
2. How are you planning your life? Do you get wrapped up in the temporal?
3. Are the things of this world making you complacent? Or do we view any earthly blessing as means to grow and share our faith? (Remember motives are the root)
