Description

John Petrelli returns to the Prime Life Podcast to continue sharing his incredible story of overcoming addiction, mental health struggles and poverty to rebuild his life. He takes a raw and honest look at the person he was before starting his journey to California with Daryl, reflecting on how much he has evolved and the toll his past took on relationships.

After getting clean, John built a career as a fitness trainer, eventually training celebrities like Ziggy Marley through word-of-mouth referrals. He discusses the importance of changing behaviours, putting good into the world and creating a positive community that values people's needs.

Later, Petrelli opens up about suffering a major heart attack that left him confined to a wheelchair for months. He emphasizes the importance of mental health, using tools like Wim Hof breathing and gratitude practices to manage stress.

Despite these physical setbacks, John shares his personal journey to graduation from a wheelchair to a cane to publishing a #1 Amazon book within just three months of being out of work. He reflects on the role supportive people played as well as taking action towards goals.

John also expresses gratitude to an organization that reached out to help him during his darkest times, underlining the significance of mutual support and making a positive difference in others' lives.
