Description

Welcome into THE PICKLE JAR. Jill is excited to share with you that she was able to attend her family reunion on the weekend. Her first one since pre-COVID and it was a success.

Living with a chronic illness attending events can be stressful as you re-live past experiences of anxiety of having to cancel last minute, the exhaustion of preparing for the event, the exhaustion of attending the event and more. It is easy to activate what Jill calls the NEGATIVE CYCYLE of Chronic illness.

She has learned by living and was determined to attend. It was planning physically, emotionally and thinking outside of just her medications. She ate well, rested and listened to her body all week to make sure the odds were in her favour come family reunion day.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

Life drains cortisol but Jill decided she is worth the effort to make choices that are ideal for her. Jill decided by choosing herself and taking care of herself...she is choosing her family. Jill chooses to love herself over fearing her illness.

Jill is looking forward to more events, more laughter, more loving and MORE LIVING with Addison's Disease.
