Welcome into THE PICKLE JAR Lorie who miraculously survived a long road to diagnosis with Addison's Disease. A journey that started after the birth of her son in 2010.
Experiencing many of the typical symptoms of the illness and also an extremely LOW CORTISOL result Lorie diagnosis still took over 6 years. But Lorie had the feeling deep inside of her that something was terribly wrong. FINALLY she had a NAME to what was leaving her extremely fatigued, low blood pressure, dark skinned and near death and it was ADDISON'S DISEASE.
Her journey continues to be unique and Lorie has learned many lessons in the last few years that have been GAME CHANGERS in her illness management and her quality of life.
She is a WARRIOR and her story proves how amazing our bodies are in this fighting against Addison's Disease. She is strong willed and determined with a positive mindset she is continuing to take steps forward to live her best life with a chronic illness.
