Description

Seeking self-worth through the approval of others is not the best way to go through life.  It is exhausting!

So why do we do it?  Why do we allow others to dictate us and have so much power over how we feel about ourselves?

Others crave for love and belonging, wanting to be liked, and caring about the effect we have on others.  This may be healthy and allows us to make connections.  However, the time we get into trouble is when our self-worth is based upon whether we win someone's approval or not.  How do we practice self-love gratitude?
