Firstly, we examine "Lying Love," where there is a profession of love for God but a lack of practice in loving others (1 John 2:9, 11). We'll discuss the challenge of merely speaking words without genuine action, and the implications this has on our understanding of salvation and authenticity.
Secondly, we delve into "Loving Love," where the love for God is evidenced and validated by a sincere love for others (1 John 4:20). We'll unpack Jesus' commandment to love one another, highlighting the inseparable link between loving God and loving our neighbors.
Throughout the episode, we'll reflect on biblical examples that illustrate these concepts, aiming to deepen our understanding of what it means to live our faith through loving God and others.
