Description

In this episode, Miles Ellery, CSBP Agricultural Officer joins CSBP’s Grey Johnston to chat about the insights and results that are starting to come through in our field trials program.

This year, CSBP’s trials program stretches from Yuna in the north to Gibson in the south east, with more than 30 cropping trials and two pasture trials.

These trials will focus on rates to drive production, placement and application strategies to maximise nitrogen use efficiency and manage seasonal risk.

We’ve invested in replicated field research to better understand Western Australian soils and growing conditions for over 100 years. The results help us develop sustainable nutrient management solutions to shape the future of agriculture.

Our field research program tests new products to see how they may improve fertiliser effectiveness. Trials also help us establish nutrient drivers, understand the importance of balanced nutrition, and recognise the impact that fertiliser usage can have on crop and pasture profitability.
