In this edition of the Poethnic Justice Podcast, we highlight the life of our FBA innovator and inventor Elija McCoy.
When we hear about black inventors, the information presented to us is normally relegated to George Washington Carver inventing peanut butter, but black excellence goes far deeper than something you spread on a piece of white bread (Not saying peanut butter isn't a big deal btw. I love a good PB&J).
Therefore, I wanted to use Wednesdays to highlight the numerous and vital contributions Foundational Black Americans have put into building and maintaining the United States--aka the greatest country in the world.
I hope you'll join me for the new microseries, and I want to start it off with the innovative and brilliant Elijah McCoy--the man who, when you think about it, is largely responsible for the oil system of the very car you drive.
