When we talk about REPARATIONS in this space, we discuss them in terms of reparations ACROSS THE BOARD (primarily in the form of direct cash payments.
And, when put on an honest and just lens on this country's history, the reality is that other groups shamefully took the side of their oppressor against black people. And, those who participated in the subjugation and resource deprivation of Foundational Black Americans have an obligation to redress and restore what was stolen.
In this edition of the Poethnic Justice Podcast, we discuss why the Red Native Americans--as is the case with ALL Americans--owe reparations to the Freedman and their descendants, too.
