I'm Jay Lind, author of Between the Lines: A Memoir about Addiction, Empathy, and Evolution. And this is the trailer for Between the Lines: Recovery an idea born shortly after the release of my memoir. I hope to use this platform to share the stories of some of the unique people I have met along the way or will meet sometime in the future. Some of my guests on the podcast will be people whose stories I featured in my book, but others will be new to you and me both. It is my sincere belief that everyone has a story we should hear, and that if we take the time to ask the right questions and to listen, we can all learn from each other. The more you know about someone, the harder it is to hate them. Think about it. There is only one cure for the ignorance, fear, and hatred that seems all too common these days. And that cure is love.
