2019 in honor of Pride Month, Dr. Lauren and Alana discuss the importance of Lesbian Identity and Visibility. Starting with the herstory and origin story of the identity itself to the ways homophobia and misogyny have negatively impacted lesbians in the world and the importance of knowing that they also highlight how important community is and how stabilizing it is when lesbians find each other in safe spaces where they can be their authentic selves.
