The Singing Machine Company and Stingray are launching the world’s first fully integrated hardware and software in-car karaoke solution for the automotive market. It will allow vehicle entertainment systems to transform into karaoke platforms complete with microphones, lyrics and fun. Singing Machine CEO Gary Atkinson…who had partnered with James Corden on a CarPool Karaoke product…says there will be safety features built in…
“So when the car’s in motion…the lyrics will not display. What it will display is a big QR code so the passengers in the car can scan the QR code from their mobile device.”
And get the lyrics scrolling on their phones. Sound brilliant. Atkinson says it may be available from some carmakers later this year.
