Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. With the arrival of Windows 11…the question for many Windows users is…should I upgrade now or wait? There are some new features to look forward to…a new look that will take a little getting used to…for the most part it feels familiar and comfortable. That said…there isn’t a big reason to rush…no compelling feature that you need to have right now. One promised new capability…the ability to run Android apps…won’t arrive as an update for a while. Meanwhile….if your PC is on its last legs….frustrating and sluggish….this might be an ideal time to upgrade. And that new PC should come …assuming it’s not a Mac….with Windows 11 pre-installed…unless your buying one that’s been sitting on the shelf for a while. Look for lots of announcements from computer makers eager to generate some excitement.
