The new Meta Quest 3 has been announced, the first consumer friendly, affordable mixed reality device. To say the least, the announcement did not fail to impress. This $499 headset is available for preorder today and shipping on October 10th. The update in spatial mapping is lightyears ahead of anything else really challenging the Apple Vision Pro which we have yet to get a defined timeline on.
