Just like how most people believe they're above-average drivers, most people probably think they're above-average communicators. "I get my point across," they say, "so yeah, I'm a good communicator." But think back to the times when you've worked with someone that you really enjoyed. Think about how they made you feel. A lot of that comes from truly mastering communication, and doing it in a way that bolsters other people, not just "getting the point across."
