Many country music fans around Kansas City know Jillian Gregg from her years as a morning show co-host on KBEQ FM - Q104. She opens the book of her life on this episode by discussing her upbringing of being home schooled and consistently spending time in church. By fate, she was given an opportunity to intern at Q104 for Kansas City radio veteran Shotgun Jeff Jaxon, that eventually led to co-hosting a morning show with long-time radio legend, Randy Miller. After Randy's departure, she was retained by Q104 to co-host what would eventually become the Q104 Morning Drive with Mike, Zeke & Jillian. After a long run of co-hosting the popular morning show, she eventually walked away. Upon doing so, discussions began about coming back to radio to work for Q104 competitor, WDAF FM - 106.5 The Wolf. Then Covid happened. All of those talks came to a screeching halt and Jillian was left with the disappointment and heartbreak of what she wanted versus what God wanted for her. Jillian discusses the importance of her Christian faith and how she was challenged to lean on God's word during those difficult times. At the end of this episode, Jillian and I make an exciting announcement about her future, that will give long-time fans an opportunity to reconnect with the talent of her "on air" personality.
