With the coronavirus cancelling football, it really does put us, hosts of a football show, with very little actual football to talk about. Nevertheless, creativity must prevail and like any good playmaker, we’ve come up with a fun idea to try out for today’s edition of the Total Football podcast.

So, Andrew, firstly any isolation updates?
Well the crux of today’s show is we will compete in Opta’s 11th annual football quiz. They say it’s the toughest football quiz around, but between the two of us here we will put that theory to the test.
The quiz took place last November, but the questions and answers are available online. We have not looked at any of the questions or answers yet, but we do have the results of the competitors to go up against.
The winners were The Athletic, who competed for the first time. There were 34 competitors in total. So let’s get cracking…
