It's been a turbulent International Break, but plenty of off-field excitement to keep us going through the more mundane on-pitch action this week.

Part 1

In the last week, Arsene Wenger has been doing the rounds across the media promoting his upcoming book. It’s been two years since the Frenchman left Arsenal and with no managerial position looking likely soon we’ll take what we can get of the Professor.

Hello and welcome to the Total Football podcast, I am your host Declan Harte. Joining me is Andrew Conway

Andrew, what would you like to see Wenger address in his book?

Part 2

England started their game against Belgium, that they won 2-1, with three right backs. What’s going on with Gareth Southgate, and how did they win that game?

Well that’s it, no Euro 2020 for the “Republic” of Ireland, but there’s still hope for the boys up North. Will we ever score a goal again?

The Premier League announced on Friday a £15 ppv system for watching “non-televised” matches on TV, which understandably has annoyed fans…

Part 3

The story broke on Sunday afternoon that Liverpool, alongside the backing of Manchester United, are proposing a dramatic shakeup to the English football pyramid. There were a host of ideas in the document revealed by Sam Wallace of the Telegraph, which we will now go through. But, was the uproar justified or are these ideas more logically sound than they were given credit for?

Part 4

League competition is back this week… hopefully. Despite cases of covid popping up across various nations everything is still planned to go ahead as normal. With that in mind, how do we see this week’s fixtures shaking out? Fair to say Everton vs. Liverpool is the big one.
