A drab weekend of Premier League action built up to the worst Man United vs. Arsenal match in living memory. But no fear, we are here to analyse it all for your enjoyment!

Part 1

It was a weekend in which all of the big Premier League sides won in very unspectacular fashion, and it was really just not very exciting at all.

Hello and welcome to the Total Football podcast, I am your host Declan Harte. Joining me this week is Andrew Conway.

Andrew, what is there to even talk about? Champions League, European league...

Part 2

The Barcelona board, including president Josep Maria Bartomeu, resigned from their positions this week. What next for Barcelona, how do they turn things around?

Real Madrid struggled to a 2-2 draw to Borussia Monchengladbach midweek, their Champions League status for this season hangs in the balance

Dundalk lost 3-0 to Arsenal on Thursday, it was the first competitive game between an Irish and English club side in a long time. Good to see, hopefully the first of many more in the upcoming years

Diego Maradona turned 60 this week, fair play. God, it was a slow news week…

Part 3

It was once the biggest rivalry in the country, the fixture both sets of fans dreaded and enjoyed more than any other. But nowadays it is safe to say that all Manchester United and Arsenal have left is the nostalgia for those good old days. Arsenal won on Sunday 1-0 thanks to an Aubameyang penalty. How was this match, and where does it leave both sides?

Part 4

The Champions League group stages reaches its mid-point. The big games will focus on group B, but there is also a big match between PSG and RB Leipzig. It was one of last season’s semi finals, but Leipzig cannot afford to lose this 3-0.

In the Premier League, Everton host Man United, while Liverpool travel to City. Who will win out in this weird Blue v Red, Merseyside v Manchester battle?
