We are now at the final international break of this never-ending year 2020. Why yes there is still a pandemic going on and yes cases do continue to rise across the continent. But if football simply puts their hands in their ears and yells la la la la maybe it will just go away?

Part 2

The big game of the weekend saw Man City draw 1-1 with Liverpool. It was an exciting first half, but the second half really petered out. Who will be happiest with that result?

Arsenal suffered their heaviest defeat of the season to the giant killers Aston Villa. A 3-0 loss at home is not the first bad result for Arsenal this season, is Arteta under any pressure now? Meanwhile, Villa were excellent

Leeds United lost 4-1 for the second game in a row. Is everything ok at Elland Road?

Everton have now lost three games in a row, a 3-1 defeat to Manchester United at home the latest, does this team rely on the presence of Richarlison too much? Lost all the games he’s missed…

Part 3

As mentioned earlier in the show, we now head into the international break before a string of games leading into the Christmas schedule. With most teams having played 8 games, Leicester City are top of the table with 18 points but only six points separate first place and eleventh. Is it still too early to look at the table, or are we in store for a genuinely close battle for position across the top half of the table this season?
