Last week we opened the show with a discussion of the lack of managerial sackings this season. Well, Fulham owner Shahid Khan must have been listening. Last Friday, it was announced Slavisa Jokanovic had left the club and was swiftly replaced by Claudio Ranieri. Is he the man to turn things around at Craven Cottage? England have won their Nations League group, but Croatia have been relegated at their expense. Meanwhile, Germany have also been relegated and also face the possibility of being seeded second in the Euro 2020 qualifying groups. Last May, Arsene Wenger oversaw his final game for Arsenal. He managed the club for over 20 years, but in no way intends to retire any time soon. Over the last few weeks Wenger has remained in the news, keeping his name in the headlines, as he hints at a return to management in January 2019. But where to next for the Frenchman? And finally, club football is back and without interruption for another 4 months! Just how will the big teams fare on their return from a two week ‘break’?
