On this, the first Preview Show of the season, we look ahead to the weekend’s footballing action in the Premier League as well as across Europe’s other big leagues. To kick us off, Liverpool go to the King Power Stadium. They’ve had some poor results there in the past, but now seems like as good a time as any to turn up at Leicester City where it’s not been the most ideal start to the season. Around the grounds at 3pm, West Ham host newly promoted Wolves in what should be an entertaining match. Chelsea also host Bournemouth, who have proven to be a bit of a bogey team for the Blues in recent seasons. Elsewhere, Manchester City host Newcastle on Saturday evening as they look to bounce back from a disappointing draw at Wolves last weekend. On Sunday, Cardiff host Arsenal. Will Cardiff ever score a league goal again? To round off the Premier League fixtures for the weekend, it’s a battle of the 100% winning starts at Vicarage Road as Watford host Tottenham. Also at 4pm on Sunday, Manchester United go to Turf Moor where both sides will be looking to pick up a much needed victory. We also look ahead to some interesting matches across Serie A and La Liga, while reveiwing the opening weekend of Bundesliga action.
