But, have no fear as our football-less drought is coming to an end, just one more week to go!

Back this week is the Premier League and the transfer window ‘slams shut’ on Thursday afternoon, so what better place to start than by analysing the done deals and reading the tea-leaves to figure out what gets done in time and what is just a load of paper talk.

The season begins with a classic fixture as Manchester United take on Frank Lampard's Chelsea. Who will come out on top for this early season Champions League contender matchup? And who will make the perfect start to the season, and who will regret the ball rolling on the start of the 2019/20 season? What could possibly go wrong??
