This World Cup is the gift that keeps on giving. While Brazil played out a fairly professional victory, their quarter final opponents just about scraped by in what is instantly a World Cup classic. Day 18 and hopefully this tournament will never end. Brazil 2 - 0 Mexico: Mexico started brightly, but they started to fade from the 20th minute on. They did expose weaknesses in Brazil that Belgium will be looking to exploit, namely Fagner at right back. Casemiro will also be suspended which is a significant blow to the Brazilians. Belgium 3 - 2 Japan: Who knew Japan had it in them? Much improved from the group stages, Japan exposing weaknesses in this Belgian side. But they also exposed that this Belgium team has a lot of fight in it, many teams would have given up at 2-0 down but Belgium powered on and ultimately deserved to go through.
