Day 9 was an unforgettable day of World Cup action which saw three incredibly enjoyable games and one sad exit from the tournament. Brazil 2 - 0 Costa Rica: Brazil took their time about it, but two late late goals saw them pick up all 3 points against a stubborn Costa Rica. Unfortunately that’s curtains for Costa Rica, but is Neymar this tournament’s villain to root against? Nigeria 2 - 0 Iceland: The two underdogs of group D clash and no one will be happier than the Argentina fans. This leaves the group wide open as each team prepares for the final group game showdown this Tuesday! Serbia 1 - 2 Switzerland: Serbia become the first team in the competition to lose from a winning position, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Despite the loss, however, they’ve left Brazil a lot to think about in their winner takes all match this Wednesday.
