God speaks to each one of us at the level of our own comprehension.
That means as you mature intellectually, so does His message.
As the #ChristianAmerican community matured, Jesus came moved and Christians past the letter of the law toward the Spirit of the law, much like a parent's message to their child expands as the child moves from toddler to adolescent, to adult.
