When Jim Ryan said that they'll let their games do the talking, they meant it. With little to no talk about the games being shown. We were taken to a ride of back to back announcements of games at break neck pace. Some were expected, while some were really a cause for instant asthma attack. And finally the PS5 was revealed in true form. With a sleek and futuristic look, it will come out with an All-Digital version for those that feel like digital games are more convenient. Many say that it looks like a router for your internet, my take is that it is a homage to the "Plash Speed" ad for the PS4 Pro. We'll be sharing our thoughts about the event, and the games that really peaked our interest, and those that didn't. The PS5 event obviously dominated the new this week, with many gaming companies pulling back with their own announcements to avoid being neglected by the gaming community. But there are tidbits from Nintendo and Microsoft to assure that they are still in the game for next gen.
