The 9th Generation War is on full force.
Both Sony and Xbox threw jabs at each other this week, we aren't sure who won between them, but we're sure that "we" (the consumers), are winning. In Sony's recent PS5 showcase, games were shown that surely added fuel to the PS5 hype train. Most notably, the console exclusive Final Fantasy XVI, and the newly teased God of War game. However, Xbox just did a big boy move that shook the industry. They bought Zenimax Media, which owns (hold on to your seats), id Software (DOOM), MachineGames (Wolfenstein), Tango Gameworks (The Evil Within), Arkane Studios (Dishonored), and Bethesda Softworks (Elder Scrolls, and Fallout). Sony might be winning launch, but in the long run, Microsoft might just win this war. All the while, Nintendo be chilling with their recent Nintendo Direct where they'll be getting two, TWO, new Monster Hunter games.
