It's been a while Nintendo Direct.
At least for a traditional Nintendo Direct that is, This gave no breaks on the reveals of games to be released, and updates on already released games. This includes, but is not limited to, updates to a new Splatoon game, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD port, Mario Golf, Fall Guys, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, updates for Animal Crossing, any many more. Alongside this big chunk of announcements is the annual BlizCon, or for this time and age, BlizConline. We got updates on Diablo, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, and Overwatch. Google Stadia explains the reason for shutting down Stadia Studios, and a damn good reason at that. Konami then adds more fuel to the fire by reporting that they are outsourcing two of their IPs to 3rd party studios, one of which is a known horror game that will be handled by a renowned Japanese developer. Certainly does not point to Hideo Kojima developing Silent Hills on my book. Sony "drifts" into indie world by introducing PlayStation Talents Games Camp, with 8 new exclusives that they are in partnership with. And Xbox is reportedly planning on holding an event for Bethesda as E3 is just within the horizon. News on Elder Scrolls 6? I doubt.
Our thoughts on all of these, and more, only on this episode!
