Summary
Esmeralda Gonzalez, a popular social media star, was murdered in Las Vegas in 2019. She was known for her fashion and lifestyle content on Instagram and had over 300,000 followers. Esmeralda suffered from mental health disorders and had a history of going off her medication, which affected her perception of reality. Her brother reported her missing when he found her house in disarray and she was nowhere to be found. It was later discovered that she had been taken to a neighbor's house, where she was tied up, choked, and injected with pool cleaner. Three individuals were charged in connection with her murder. In this conversation, Chrissy discusses her frustration with the slow legal process and the concept of time served. She also expresses disbelief that the neighbors didn't know the perpetrator and shares her reaction to seeing the photos of the people involved. The conversation then veers off into various tangents, including discussions about fashion trends, generations, and the influence of social media. The episode concludes with reminders to seek help in violent relationships and to approach those in mental distress with calmness and support.
