In August of 1993, the tiny town of Savona, NY was rocked by the disappearance of 4 year old Derrick Robie who went missing while walking to a summer day camp program down the street from his house. After just a few hours of searching, Derrick's body was found in a vacant lot close to his home and the community was in a panic thinking that an unknown child killer had come into their safe little village and harmed one of their own. Little did they know, the killer was lurking much closer to home, and when his identity was revealed, the townsfolk couldn't believe their ears. This is a story that truly proves the saying, "Don't judge a book by it's cover".
