Junko Furuta was a beautiful, smart, and caring 17 year old girl from Japan who had her whole life ahead of her and was planning for her future. In November of 1988, she caught the eye of the school bully and self proclaimed Yakuza member, Hiroshi Miyano. After turning Junko turned him down, Hiroshi and 3 of his friends abducted Junko and subjected her to 44 days of the most horrific torture and abuse that one could imagine. This episode is not for the faint of heart, but Junko's story is one that needs to be told and the identities of the monsters that murdered her need to be exposed time and time again.
