Description

After many series about well-being in the workplace, I want to talk about burnout at work.

If you start to feel physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted and overwhelmed, it’s a sign of a state of burnout.

Burnout can be a result of excessive stress, the context of your work, workplace environment, conditions, management, or relationship with your manager or co-workers.

Some triggers invoke the state of burnout. For example, detachment from your work, a lack of motivation to go to work, neglect, and isolation. This leads to a negative impact on your well-being.

Burnout is a serious condition that requires attention and intervention to protect yourself and your health.

1. Make your well-being a top priority and be attentive to all the things that disturb your well-being physically, mentally, and emotionally.

2. Set boundaries between work and personal life. Define what is professional and establish clear boundaries to create a healthy work-life balance.

3. Organize your time and activities to meet deadlines without stress.

4. Learn to say no to the things that drain your energy.

5. Review your desires and evaluate your goals in all aspects of your life.

Life is too short and your well-being matters. So, make it your top priority!
