Description

"You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today." Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of The United States of America.

Born on February 12th, 1809, to an impoverished young family in Hodgenville, Kentucky, Abraham Lincoln started his life modestly. Surrounded by the death of multiple family members, and the tragedy associated, with his life, Lincoln surely did not let the mightily unfortunate circumstances prevent him from living to the fullest.

Self-described as "Six feet, four inches, lean in flesh, weighing one hundred and eighty pounds, dark complexion with coarse black hair and grey eyes", Abraham Lincoln would go from poverty to leading one of the most powerful countries in human history, changing the course of that country single-handedly along the way.

Join Jen and Cam in the ninth episode of History Out Of The Box as they discuss the storied, almost legendary, life of the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln.

History Out of The Box strives to connect our listeners with the echoes of our collective past, discussing the good, the bad, and the ugly associated with famous historical figures.
