Het derde seizoen van de THC podcast begint met een levende legende én
inspirator voor Uncle Kush’ carrière. Wernard Bruining speelde namelijk
sinds de jaren ’70 een enorme rol in de ontwikkeling van de Nederlandse
c4nnabisindustrie. Zo opende hij de eerste coffeeshop ooit, ‘Mellow
Yellow’; en de eerste growshop van Europa: Positronics. In 2013 gooide
Wernard echter het roer om door zijn zelfbedachte term: Mediwiet. Wat
volgde was de ontwikkeling van een legendarisch product: verdunde
w1etolie en CBD olie. Mede dankzij zijn vrouw Yolanda bouwde de familie
Bruining ‘Stichting Mediwiet’ uit tot een van de belangrijkste
organistaties voor de acceptatie van c4nnabis in Nederland.
