In 2014, the Broaddus family purchased their dream home at 657 Boulevard in Westfield, New Jersey. Derek and Maria Broaddus were excited to move in with their 3 children after the renovations were complete. But everything changed when Derek checked the mail at their new home and found a white card shaped envelope with thick handwriting addressed to “the new owner.” Inside, the envelope contained a letter signed by “The Watcher” and the Broaddus family’s dream home quickly became a nightmare.
