According to Jesus, the whole Bible is about Him. For example, in John 5:39, Jesus tells the Pharisees, “You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me...” Many of us understand Jesus’ claim intellectually, but practically, we don’t get it. How are all of the Old Testament figures and stories pointing to Him? In our quest to connect the dots, we begin by examining the very beginning. What we realize, and what Paul affirms in Romans 5, is that Jesus is the true and better Adam.
