Jesus's most favorite description of Him as the Son of Man. As the Son of Man, He spoke truth into the lives of people. We live in a world where truth, honesty, and transparency are not part of reality. The world lives a lie about ourselves. Jeremiah the prophet, under the inspiration of God, asked, "The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it?" (Jeremiah 1:9) The answer is given in the next verse where he states that it is God who searches the heart. Jesus was declared to be God by signs, miracles, and the truth.
