In this episode, Joe Durso speaks from Ephesians chapter 1 and 4 to the subject of Christian maturity. The necessary elements in the maturing process involve the Holy Spirit of God, His holy Word, and the Church as it supplies gifted leaders and members as they bring their combined gifts to aid in the maturing of all its members. Furthermore, Joe recounts writing of the Apostle Paul as he brought to light the need for love and maturity as described in 1 Corinthians 13:8-13. It is in this section that the humility of the Apostle Paul comes to light and how that should have a humbling effect upon all believers. The most learned among us should carefully consider that even the Apostle Paul himself viewed his knowledge as a dimly lit mirror. How much more should those who did not receive revelations and visions understand themselves to be inadequate for the job of ministry? To depend upon the Lord is a gift of God, especially since we are all called to live by faith and dependence upon Him who died for us.
