In this episode we break down megachurch pastor Andy Stanley’s recently-viral comments at a ministry conference about the church’s stance toward recognizing the mere existence of gay Christians. Many on the Christian right see the comments as effectively an admission of pro-LGBT views. Are they correct? We’re not so sure. We examine his comments and discuss the importance of someone in Stanley’s position becoming friendlier toward queer faith communities, as well as the need to do more.
