Feb 3rd for most of us was just another day: waking up to an alarm clock, sometimes hitting snooze, making breakfast for the family and rushing out the door for work. But for families in East Palestine, Ohio it was a nightmare. Their backyards looked like a movie set as Norfolk Southern Freight with 38 cars (11 carrying hazardous materials) derailed and created a magnitude of horror for those in the surrounding areas. From chemicals in the air, worry about water safety, acid rain and much more- these families and businesses have all been impacted. With the clean up beginning, environmental officials leaving the scene, it is back to day-to-day life for many residents. But with that comes FEAR. The UKNOWN. What happens next?
