Sexual Assault. Rape. Words as society we seem to shy away from, even more when victims use these words. Then you add the military into this conversation, and it becomes almost taboo. I sit down with special guest, Erin Scanlon, from Phoenix who was a junior army officer in the military when she became a victim. She has been featured by ABC/CNN/Rolling Stone with her story. The story of the military's mishandling of her case, providing advocates that stood up and represented her, and how she changed her trauma into helping others in Washington DC by advocacy work and rewriting policies required for our U.S military's future.
